Jim is presently serving his second 3-year term as a member of PIP Printing's National Advisory Council. Advisory Council members work closely with the corporate staff of Franchise Services Inc., representing franchise owners on a variety of issues such as national advertising budgets, marketing materials and market trends. Jim is very interested in his communities growth is a Board Member of BRAG (Binford Redevelopment and Growth)
Jim and Kris have 2 sons, Eric and Ryan, and 3 grandchildren, Megan, Claire and Ian. Their son, Eric, is married to Tiffany Strauss and is an engineer for Horton World Wide. Jim and Kris are proud that Ryan decided to join the family business full time after completing college. Jim's interests include golf, fitness, open-wheel racing, live music and travel. As a lifetime fan of the Indy 500, Jim is a dedicated 500 Festival volunteer, serving as Entertainment Co-chair for the Mini-Marathon and serving as Spectator Relations Co-chair for the 500 Festival Parade. Jim is also a proud member of Millersville Lodge #126 of Free and Accepted Masons and a 32 degree Scottish Rite Mason.

Ryan Strauss

Ryan started his formal education after high school at Memphis College of Art, with studies including foundation courses in drawing, painting, sculpture, bookbinding, paper making, printmaking and Art History. He went on to receive a Bachelor Degree of Fine Art at Ringling School of Art and Design in Sarasota, FL with a focus in printmaking. He studied traditional lithography, etching, linoleum block printing and silkscreen. Ryan still creates art on his own time with aspirations of having his own gallery showing. Ryan enjoys playing and listening to music and loves cooking. He also has a passion for open wheel racing including the Indy Car Series and Formula 1. Ryan is also a hockey enthusiast. As a youth Ryan participated in competitive travel hockey, reaching the Indiana High School hockey state finals. Ryan follows both amateur and professional hockey in his free time. Ryan is currently in a relationship with his girlfriend Kristy. His immediate family includes his parents Jim and Kris, an older brother Eric and wife Tiffany, whom have two daughters, Megan and Claire and a son named Ian.

After graduating, he worked in a large format screen printing environment that focused on retail marketing. He would assist in creating campaigns for national retailers.
He came to us in 2009 with the background in large format printing that helps greatly in our rapidly growing sign and poster department. He also leads our in-house graphics department with design and marketing projects. With the education and background that he has, it's a natural fit here at PIP.
Marty's interests outside PIP include music, sports, traveling and spending time with his wife and 4 year old son.
Sam Murphy

Sam joined our team at PIP in early 2011. His varied print knowledge and attention to quality put Sam right at home in our store. He is always eager to complete every project with the satisfaction of our customers at top priority.
Sam's interest in printing began in his youth and he made his first screen print at the age of 12. Sam's other interest include a passions for art and music. He received the Cole Porter scholarship for the Arts in 1997. He then attended the Herron School of Art where he made contacts that led to his first screen printing job with a commercial artist. Sam has played the guitar for almost 20 years and always has a band or two going. He can be seen around Indianapolis and the country playing with local rock bands the Down-fi and DEEZEN. Sam enjoys living near the Central Canal Towpath Trail with his girlfriend Kelsey, who also plays the drums in DEEZEN.
