We’re looking for a proactive, friendly, and detail-oriented Customer Account Representative to serve as the main point of contact between our print shop and a select group of key clients. In this role, you’ll manage order intake, job estimating, job tracking through production, and invoicing—ensuring a smooth and positive experience for both clients and our internal team.
You’ll play a critical role in helping us deliver high-quality print work on time and on budget, while building strong, reliable relationships with your assigned accounts.
About the Job:
We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can spot potential issues before they become problems, and knows how to keep clients informed and happy. A typical day in this position would include customer correspondence via phone and email, entering in job specifications to generate estimates, communicating with production to manage deadlines, contacting customers when orders are ready and invoicing customers after jobs are completed.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary liaison between the print shop and assigned clients
- Provide accurate, timely job estimates based on client specifications
- Coordinate job details and timelines with the production team
- Monitor production schedules to ensure deadlines are met
- Communicate job status updates and resolve any client concerns
- Prepare and send invoices upon job completion
- Maintain detailed records of client communication, estimates, and billing
- Proactively follow up with clients for new projects and feedback
- Collaborate with the team to improve workflows and client satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a print shop, customer service, or production environment preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (in person, verbally, and in writting)
- High executive funtioning skills, comfortable juggling multiple jobs and deadlines
- Basic understanding of print production processes and estimating
- Familiarity with print management software is a plus (e.g., PrintSmith, Sales Force.)
- High attention to detail and a self-motivated attitude
- General computer literacy and email competency, with an ability to learn new software
What’s in it for you?
- Compensation is $19.00 per hour
- Eligible for benefits after three months of employment
- Paid vacation time after three months of employment
Education and Experience:
Experience in the printing or design field is preferred but not required
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
Job Applicants must be able to fulfill the physical requirements of the job which will include lifting boxes as heavy as 50 pounds. Training on equipment and software will be provided.
